BECKY PHILLIPS

Owner/Director/Dance Instructor

Becky and her husband Troy have five children; Kenni, Brandon and his wife Ashley, Theresa, Meghan, and Nathan. They have 3 beautiful grandchildren; granddaughter Ciearra and grandsons Ezra and Christian. Becky is an Accredited Member of Dance Masters of Wisconsin, Inc. and Chicago National Association of Dance Masters by examination to teach. Becky is Vice President of Dance Masters of Wisconsin, Inc. She also chairs and serves on many committees with Dance Masters of Wisconsin, Inc.  Becky began dancing in 1983 and has been teaching since 1991; She has owned the studio since 2007. Becky’s entire family has been involved with the dance studio through the years. She is excited to have the opportunity to share the art of dance with your family!

KENNI PHILLIPS

Assistant Studio Director/ Dance Instructor

Kenni is the Assistant Director of 5-6-7-8 Dance Studio. She has been dancing since 1995 and began her teaching career in 2009. She is a Board Assistant and Accredited Member of Dance Masters of Wisconsin, Inc. by Examination to teach in Ballet, Tap and Jazz. Kenni is Co-Chair and MC of a Student Competition that is run by Dance Masters of Wisconsin every November. Kenni was also a guest instructor at the Dance Masters of Wisconsin teacher workshop in 2019 and 2020. She enjoys attending dance conventions throughout the year to continue her education and expand her knowledge of dance. While attending UW Whitewater, Kenni choreographed for ECC in 2015. As one of our Competition Team instructors and Assistant Studio Director, Kenni has choreographed and taught many top award winning routines including her Platinum award winning Production routine "The Greatest Show". She is very involved with the local community through the studio leading workshops for local schools, the YMCA and other organizations! She looks forward to getting to know your dancers and sharing dance with your family!

KATHLEEN CASEY

Dance Instructor

Kathleen has been dancing with us since 1995 and started teaching in 2005. Kathleen is an Accredited Member of Dance Masters of Wisconsin, Inc. by examination to teach in core competencies. She enjoys attending Dance Masters of Wisconsin workshops regularly. Kathleen has choreographed and taught many award winning routines for our competition team. Kathleen graduated from UW Whitewater with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in dance. While at UW Whitewater she performed with “Dance Scapes” and “ECC” working with many talented students and professional choreographers. She performed with The Good Company in 42nd Street, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and in the James Sewell production of Amahl and The Night Visitors. In addition to teaching dance she works full time as a Merchandise Coordinator at Marshall’s.

HEATHER SULLIVAN

Dance Instructor

Heather and her husband, Mike have 3 boys; Christian (4) Lochlan (3) and Griffin (2). Heather has been dancing since 1986 and began her teaching career in 1998. Heather is an Accredited Member of Dance Masters of Wisconsin, Inc. by examination to teach in Ballet, Tap, and Jazz. She attends dance conventions throughout the year to continue her education in dance and teaching. Heather has enjoyed serving on committees for the governing board of Dance Masters of Wisconsin, Inc. She also had the opportunity to teach at the March DMW teacher convention in 2018. She has choreographed and taught many award winning routines for our Competition Team. Heather and Mike have been busy with 3 kids under the age of 4! Heather is excited to be back at the studio since her year of absence after having her son in November of 2018. She looks forward to working with all of our dancers this year!

AIMEE HANUS

Dance Instructor

Aimee has been dancing since 2003 and started teaching in 2017. She is working toward certification as an Accredited Member of Dance Masters of Wisconsin, Inc. by examination to teach. She enjoys attending DMW dance conventions throughout the year. Aimee is a certified AcroDance instructor and is super excited to showcase our many talented Acro dancers. She has been a member of our competition team since 2011 earning many top awards, Dancer of the Year award and National invitation. She stays involved with the local community through the studio volunteering time at dance workshops for local schools and other organizations. In addition to teaching dance she works at Culver’s.

 

ALECZANDRIA HANUS

Dance Instructor

Aleczandria has been dancing with us since 2006 and started teaching in 2018. She is working toward certification as an Accredited Member of Dance Masters of Wisconsin, Inc. by examination to teach in core competencies. She enjoys attending DMW dance conventions throughout the year to better herself as a dancer and teacher. She has been a member of our competition team since 2011, winning many top awards and judge’s choice awards. She has been involved with the community helping with local events through the studio. Aleczandria is a high school Senior and has great leadership skills that make her a great asset to the studio. In addition to teaching dance she works at part time at Culver's.

ELLYANNA ANDERSON

Dance Instructor

Ellyanna Anderson has been dancing since 2005. She has studied and continues to study many genres of dance including; Ballet, Pointe, Musical Theatre, Hip hop, Contemporary, Lyrical, Modern, Jazz, and Tap. Ellyanna performs with Sparrow Dance Co and Rise performance company. She has also assisted with Camp Fun in the Son, Christian Theater Camp, and Camp SOAR (Special Outdoor Adaptive Recreation). Getting her first dance teaching job in the summer of 2018, she taught a Ballet intensive for the Dream Dancerz Dance Team in Milwaukee, and choreographed for the Richmond Burton High School’s 2019 Musical Disaster! Ellyanna started competing in 2017 an became Miss Dance Masters of Wisconsin in 2018. Ellyanna Choreographed many award winning competition dances and in 2019 Ellyanna self-choreographed her solo, called You Should See Me In a Crown, and won Outstanding Choreography. Ellyanna is a freshman in college and attends McHenry County College as a full time student! She is so excited to start her first year at 5-6-7-8!
